In the beginning of anything new, whether it be that of a new birth, a new relationship, a new goal, a new way of life, or a new challenge, there is so much to learn, so many obstacles, so many choices.

In the beginning of anything new, many thoughts of the past may come up. Thus the reason why in the beginning the first step is to start giving yourself credit for who you are, where you have been and where you want to go.

In the beginning of anything new many people may want to share with you their ways...  their beliefs.. (and who doesn't love inspiration...) but what is important is you learn how to work with who you are and follow your beliefs, your intuition. Even if, in the long run,  your choices don't work out for you in the exact way you intended. It is an experience, your experience, one in which you will learn and progress from... expand upon. Your life, your experiences, your choices will create your unique story. One which you can be proud to call your own and share with others too.

I can only hope and pray that whatever goal and type of life you choose it is a prosperous and endless one. One in which you don't give up on regardless of the challenges!

              As the old saying goes,

It's the journey that's far more rewarding than the end results...

Grasp that vision, that belief, that goal, that dream of yours and conquer it... never giving up on what it is you truly want.

I am going to share a little story I wrote when I was about 18 years of age for a book "Eggwhites for the Soul". The title is

              "The Little Bird Who Could"

Everybody in the world is either a chicken or an eagle. The difference is simple, yet vast. Chickens see obstacles as limitations and Eagles see obstacles as opportunities. In exactly the same set of circumstances, why does one person think of limitations and another of unlimited opportunities? I'm convinced our individual belief system is what sets up our limitations. I don't for one second believe that obstacles impose limitations upon us. To explain, let me tell you a little fable.

Once upon a time, in a land not far away, you could hear the sounds of a feathered friend flapping his wings and saying to himself, "I know I can, I know I can".

The little bird was in trouble, having been told not to leave the chicken coop--and now he was lost. The more he tried to find his way home, the deeper he seemed to wander into strange territory where hungry foxes roamed and ravenous coyotes lurked.

Almost as much as he wanted to get home, he wanted to fly. If he could fly, he knew he could escape the greedy jaws seeking him for dinner. But everybody had a lways told him that chickens can't fly. So he just gave up and kept on sneaking through the grass, his eyes alert for hiding place any any sign of danger.

It was exhaustive work and eventually he layed down to rest and fell asleep. During his sleep he had an incredible vision of himself soaring high above the clouds, searching for his home, his family, his friends. The dream was so real, he abruptly woke, boldly saying, "I know I can fly, I know I can".

The little bird was more scared than ever, for not only was the day turning to darkness he started believing in things and feeling things everyone else always said was impossible. He kept saying to himself, "I have to fly high above the clouds so I can find home". So he tried and tried, only to remember what his family and friends had always said, "chickens can't fly".

The little bird almost gave up when at last he remembers his vision. He thought, "If I can dream it I can certainly do it". That little bird believed and believed and believed until he found himself soaring high, high above the clouds.

While up in the clouds, he at last saw his home, family and friends. They were looking up into the sky screaming, "WOW, WOW, who are you?".

Then he heard someone yelling his name, so he flew down to the other chickens, and said, "Who am I, who are you?". The little bird spoke of his vision and what he believed in, but no one understood. They all thought he was talking about impossible things.

"That's okay," he said. "The important thing is now I know the truth. Maybe chickens believe they can't fly because that's what they been told and that's what they believe. But I'm telling you," said the little bird, "Chickens can fly. You can fly if you believe you can.".

              The End

and as Helen Keller said, "The most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen.... it must be felt by the heart...

The challenge for you today is to start building a strong foundation in which for you to stand. Without a foundation how can one stand tall to the challenges. Everyone needs a foundation. A foundation is meant to heighten one's confidence, strengthen one's internal belief and state of mind. A foundation is meant to give you the chance to fly.

Life is a challenge... prepare for it

Did you know? Chickens really can fly. They just choose not to. And it's only because they have been tamed and taught life is a lot safer when staying low to the ground?

Hi all! With this blog i am going to attempt to share what I had learned early on in my life. What led to the bus accident in 1996 and then the experience of it all which leads to now. Some of what you read may have you in awe, other pieces may have you inspired. Some you may not believe. This I cannot control. What I do know though is my story, the whole story needs to finally be shared in its entirety. I have always been known for who I am, what I have done and my voice of calm reason in acquiring. There is more though, that had never been shared. I wanted to... just never found a way. I was too caught up in sharing the parts that people wanted to hear. No matter where the road led me the questions remained the same, and the successes of others always seemed to amaze me. But there are many parts equally if not more valuable. These are lessons, words and storys that must be shared now.

I am going to start with a story I wrote when i was in my early teens. Then I will work up to what led me to not only write these words but what led my belief system to what it is. Yes, I am reluctant. These words need to be shared though if I expect to grow from where I am, where I have been to where I want to and always dreamed of being... in it's sole entirety. This world is changing rather rapidly whether you choose to believe it or not. Things are changing and if we chose not to change along with it what will our level of survival be and at what expense.

Enjoy! Oh, I almost forgot.. every sentence, every word is copywritten as they are being used for other endeavors. This is my story. Robyne Arrows' story!
